This department manages, administers and enforces all the municipal bylaws related to parkings, noise, animals, properties and many more. They are also responsible for the School Crossing Guards.
They issue the following permits, such as:
- Dog licenses
- Open Air Burning
- Pool, jacuzzi, spas
- Transient traders
- Taxi
- Signs
The Bylaw Department is there to insure that the residents are safe but also to control issuance of the above mentioned permits within our community. Furthermore, if you wish to place a concern or a complaint regarding animals, please contact this department. Parking tickets issued by Municipal Law Enforcement Officers have to be paid at the Township of Russell.
