Summer Student Infrastructure department (May 2nd to September 2nd)
The Township of Russell is looking for a mature and motivated individuals to fill two (2) summer student positions for the Infrastructure department. Under the supervision of Public Works Supervisor, the successful candidates will assist in a variety of laboring activities to maintain sidewalks, streets, and roads and perform other related duties.
SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND KNOWLEDGE
- High School Diploma;
- Must provide a clear criminal record;
- Valid Ontario Driver's license;
- Be in good physical condition;
- Physical effort required for lifting.
Excellent proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing of both French and English.
The salary is $16.24 per hour, the schedule is 40 hours a week.

GRADUATE EDUCATORS, ST-JEAN & LA CROISÉE DAYCARE (18+)
The ideal candidates will be under the supervision of the Daycare Manager and be responsible for:
The candidate must be 18 years of age or over, possess a College degree in Early Childhood Education or in the process of completing an apprenticeship program and be a member of the Association of Early Childhood Educators Ontario. The must submit the appropriate criminal check and hold a valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- delivering an educational program including activities that are geared toward children development, their health, their security and their well-being;
- assuring a professional and efficient management of the programs and activities of the service;
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Excellent proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing of French. English an asset.
COMPENSATION: The salary, based on 25 hours per week (split shift), is between $16.69 and $18.89 per hour.
NON-GRADUATE EDUCATORS, ST-JEAN & LA CROISÉE DAYCARE (18+)
Responsible for delivering an educational program including activities that are geared toward children development, their health, their security and their well-being. Please include all current certification including first aid/C.P.R.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Excellent proficiency in speaking, reading and writing of French. English an asset.
COMPENSATION: The salary, based on 25 hours per week (split shift), is between $12.93 and $14.65 per hour.
