COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING OFFICER

The candidate will be a dynamic individual who wants to play an important dual role in leading the Communications’ office and the promotion of the economic development of our Township. Capable of working in a multidisciplinary environment; he or she will make good use of his/her knowledge and experience in marketing and promotions, economic development, media relations, communications, information technologies and government subsidy programs. This individual shall also provide guidance in the corporation’s branding, identity and content on Social Medias, promotional information package,


REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, Economic Development and/or Politics;
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a related field or equivalent qualifications.
  • Excellent knowledge of software and computer skills with proficiencies in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word – PowerPoint – Excel and Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);
  • Strong project management skills to plan, develop and implement proactive communication initiatives;
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience with traditional, digital and emerging communications platforms, Social media, and marketing automation tools. Experience is an asset.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: The candidate must have excellent proficiency in speaking, reading and writing of both French and English.

COMPENSATION: The salary, based on 35 hours per week, is between $51,627 and $63,774 per year together with an excellent benefit package.

PROJECT MANAGER FOR ITS INFRASTRUCTURE DEPARTMENT

The candidate will be responsible of the project management of major capital investments for the various services in the above-mentioned department and to the other departments of the Corporation. The candidate shall be preparing and managing RFPs and tenders, providing technical expertise, project management, financial management, and report writing on the larger capital projects throughout the Corporation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Postsecondary degree in civil engineering or other related fields combined with relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge in municipal government procedures, operations and infrastructures is an asset.
  • Ability to identify and analyze problems, find and implement solutions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management softwares.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated skills and the experience in supervising employees shall be an asset.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing of both French and English.

COMPENSATION: The salary, based on 35 hours per week, is between $58,673 and $73,679 per year together with an excellent benefit package.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT FOR ITS INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES DEPARTMENT

The candidate will be responsible to provide administrative support to the various services in the above mentioned department. The candidate will be responsible to write, edit and translate correspondence and reports, coding of invoices, and data entry. The candidate must have experience working in a fast paced multi-tasked environment and have excellent knowledge of various computer software in the Microsoft Office Suite and have experience in customer service and records management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a post-secondary diploma in administrative assistance OR business administration OR level of experience determined as equivalent.
  • Possess five (5) years in clerical or administrative experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite software.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Excellent proficiency in speaking, reading and writing of both French and English.

COMPENSATION: The salary, based on 35 hours per week, is between $46,267 and $57,839 per year together with an excellent benefit package.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT AND COMMUNICATIONS CLERK

The candidate will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department, the C.A.O.’s Office and the Communications department. The candidate will be required to data input, prepare and manage various documents and inventories. They will also assist in the daily administration of the website and our social Medias.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a post-secondary diploma in administrative assistance, communications or business administration and possess 3 years in clerical or administrative experience.
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite software.
Knowledge in website management, social media, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign will be an asset.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Excellent proficiency in speaking, reading and writing of both French and English.

COMPENSATION: The salary, based on 35 hours per week, is between $41,782 and $51,190 per year
together with an excellent benefit package.

GRADUATE EDUCATORS, St-JEAN & LA CROISÉE DAYCARE

The ideal candidates will be under the supervision of the Daycare Manager and be responsible for:

  • delivering an educational program including activities that are geared toward children development, their health, their security and their well-being;
  • assuring a professional and efficient management of the programs and activities of the service;
The candidate must possess a College degree in Early Childhood Education or in the process of completing an apprenticeship program and be a member of the Association of Early Childhood Educators Ontario. The candidate must submit the appropriate criminal check and hold a valid CPR and First Aid certification.


LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Excellent proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing of
French. English an asset.

COMPENSATION: The salary, based on 35 hours per week, is between $16.69 and $18.89 per hour .

NON-GRADUATE EDUCATORS, ST-JEAN & LA CROISÉE DAYCARE

Responsible for delivering an educational program including activities that are geared toward children development, their health, their security and their well-being. Please include all current certification including first aid/C.P.R..

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Excellent proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing of French. English an asset.

COMPENSATION: The salary, based on 35 hours per week, is between $12.93 and $14.65 per hour.

DEADLINE: July 25th , 2014, BEFORE 4:00 PM.
