Dog licenses expire on March 30th each year, at which time they must be renewed. You will be notified by the Township when it's time to renew your dog licence. Licensing registers your dog and provides a means by which it can be identified and returned to you if it gets losts. Licensing also addresses public health and safety concerns associated with stray animals. Dog licenses may be obtained or renewed at the municipal office or by mail by completing and returning the Dog Tag Application. - $15 for spayed or neutered dogs

| | Responsible Pet Owner's Code | | | - Identify your pet. Licence your dog so it can be returned safely if it becomes lost. Dogs need a new licence every year.
- Exercise your dog but keep it on a leash. Stray animals can cause traffic accidents, bite people or damage property and you are legally responsible for the conduct of your dog.
- Stoop and scoop after your dog especially in areas where children play.

- Have your pet spayed or neutered to avoid unwanted puppies or kittens.
- Have your pet vaccinated annually against rabies.
