Winter Parking Ban in Effect - Dec 4

An on-street parking ban is in effect tonight, until 7:00 a.m. Thursday, December 5th, 2024.

During this period, no person shall park a vehicle or permit a vehicle to remain on a street between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., regardless of the weather conditions. Any person who does so is liable to a fine and/or will have their vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.

While these individuals were registered participants, they were not affiliated with any other floats or business. Their actions were not approved by the parade organizers, l’Association des pompiers d’Embrun, and do not reflect the values of our community.

During the Canada Post strike, ensure your taxes and utility bills are still paid on time to avoid late fees.

  • Sign up for our pre-authorized payment plan and paperless billing to receive you bills without delays at www.russell.ca/PAP.
  • Visit Town Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to make your payment in person (cash or debit)
  • Use the drop-box in front of Town Hall at any time.
