We are happy to announce the splash pad, with newly added features, is now open for the season from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Yahoo Park, 2 Marcel Street, Embrun. An official inauguration ceremony is to come in July in collaboration with the Embrun Optimist Club.

Russell Public Pool Opens June 29

Our Public Pool officially opens Thursday, June 29th 2023 for the summer season!

Public swim sessions will be available:

• June 29 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
• June 30 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
• July 1 – Closed for Canada Day
• Starting July 2 – As per regular schedule

Reservations are not required but will guarantee your spot if we reach the maximum capacity of the pool.

Registration is still open for swimming lessons or our Barracudas Swim Team.

Never Park in a Fire Route

A reminder from Russell Township to park responsibly. Never park in a fire route. Parking in a fire route can put people at risk as it can delay emergency responders and restrict access to properties during an emergency. Fire routes must be kept clear at all times.

Our Public Safety and Enforcement Officers are actively enforcing this and have been issuing numerous parking infractions in the past few days for vehicles parked in fire routes. The fine for parking in a fire route is $75.
