Due Date Adjustment on Utilities Invoices for Embrun Residents
Please note that Public Utilities invoices for the period of July – September 2021 that were sent to residents at the beginning of October 2021 may have an error on the due date. The due date should read October 27, 2021 and not September 27, 2021.
Please note that this applies only to Embrun residents.
Rest assured that no penalties were wrongly calculated on your account if the date that appears is September 27, 2021.

Questions and Answers
What do I do with the invoice that has the incorrect due date?
If you receive your Utilities invoice by regular mail (Canada Post): You will notice the correct due date has been printed in red on the envelope of your invoice. A new invoice with the adjusted due date will not be sent to you.
If you a registered for electronic billing (e-Billing): You will receive an email with a new invoice with the revised due date. You may disregard the invoice for the period of July – September 2021 that notes the incorrect due date.
If you are registered for pre-authorized payments (PAP): Your withdraw date will not be affected. Your payment for the billing period of July – September 2021 will be withdrawn on the correct due date of October 27, 2021, as expected.
Will my account have a penalty since the incorrect due date has already passed?
Rest assured that no penalties were wrongly calculated on your account if the date that appears on your invoice is September 27, 2021. To avoid penalty, your payment must be received at the Township by October 27, 2021.
I don't live in Embrun, but I do receive a water and/or sewer bill. Will my invoice be affected?
This notice only applies to those using water and/or sewer services in the village of Embrun. If you receive a Utilities invoice, but do not live in the village of Embrun, you may disregard this notice as your invoice group will already have the corrected due date.
