The Township of Russell is developing a Public Engagement Policy, and we want your input! Your feedback will help shape how and when we communicate and involve residents in important decisions, programs, and services.

What is Public Engagement?

Public engagement is the process of actively seeking the community’s input to help inform decision-making and the programs and services the Township offers. It aims to foster transparency, trust, and ensure the community’s voice is heard. It is important to note that there will always be varying opinions across our diverse community.

Open House Quick Poll

The Township hosted a public engagement open house on Wednesday April 2, 2025. We asked six open-ended questions. Our consultant has created a poll summarizing the key themes she heard from the 34 participants.

We want to know if you agree! This poll should take less than 5 minutes, and your feedback will help shape the Township's public engagement policy. All you have to do is rank the statements in order of “most important to you” to ‘least important to you”.

Do you prefer to fill in the survey in paper format? Paper copies are available at the following locations during their respective business hours. Fill it out and return it at one of these locations before April 6, 2025.

*You can also take the survey at both library branch using the public computers.
