Fee Proposal for Tenant Fit-up for the Embrun Public Library Branch (Item 11a) |
The Township is pleased to announce a significant step forward in the Embrun library relocation project. Another milestone has been reached with the awarding of the contract to Absolute Drafting + Design Inc. for the interior design and furnishings of the future library space. This contract marks the beginning of a collaboration with a specialized design team that will use its expertise to create a modern, welcoming concept. Over the coming weeks, discussions and creative work will lead to the development of an innovative environment adapted to the needs of the community. The new space will aim to provide an enriching experience for users, integrating comfortable reading areas, workspaces and zones dedicated to young people, children and families. This relocation project aims to enrich the Embrun library's service offering and provide a meeting place for discovery accessible to all. |
Winter Parking (Item 11c) |
The Council approved the recommendation to allow street parking during the winter. A parking ban will be issued when there is 5 cm or more of snow forecasted or freezing rain. This will be from November 1st, 2024, to April 1st, 2025. We encourage residents to subscribe to the alerts at www.russell.ca/subscribe. |
