Maintenance Attendants

(Part-Time Positions)

  • Ability to work shift work, day, evening, weekends and statutory holidays;
  • Candidates must be 18 years old or older;
  • Perform various indoor and outdoor cleaning and maintenance tasks;
  • Ensure the opening and closing of the facility;
  • Prepare fields and equipment for reservations;
  • Keep an inventory of supplies and maintenance equipment and prepare purchase orders;
  • Regularly inspect conditions of the facility (cleanliness, safety, pressure system, heating, etc.);
  • Inform clients of various services and activities offered at the facility when needed;
  • Criminal Record Check;
  • First Aid, CPR and AED certifications.

COMPENSATION: The salary is $14.25/hour.

 

Client Services Attendants

(Part-Time Positions)

  • Ability to work shift work, day, evening, weekends and statutory holidays;
  • Candidates must be 18 years old or older;
  • Greet and inform clients of services and activities offered at the facility;
  • Perform membership registrations and bookings;
  • Keep client accounts up to date;
  • Collect payments and prepare deposits at the end of the shift;
  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email and in person;
  • Address clients’ comments and complaints and ensure follow-up;
  • Perform various administrative tasks;
  • Conduct general surveillance to ensure the safety of the clients and their goods;
  • Criminal Record Check;
  • First Aid, CPR and AED certifications.

COMPENSATION: The salary is $17.00/hour.

School Crossing Guards

Under the supervision of the Director of Public Safety and Enforcement, this position is responsible for the safety of school children at assigned street crossings for designated hours each day the schools are in session.

Primary Activities

  • Direct and maintain discipline among children going to or returning from school in crossing streets in assigned areas during designated hours.
  • Provide gaps in traffic to permit the crossing of school children at designated crossings.
  • Report vehicles failing to obey traffic regulations at school crossings.
  • Report accidents involving school children or vehicles in the vicinity of the school crossing areas to the proper authorities.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.

Compensation

The compensation is fixed at $16 per crossing.

Graduate Educator

The Graduate Educator will be under the supervision of the Daycare Manager and will be responsible for delivering an educational program including activities that are geared toward children's development, their health, their security and their well-being and ensure professional and efficient management of the programming and activities of the service.

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree in Early Childhood Education or in the process of completing an apprenticeship program;

  • Be a member of the Association of Early Childhood Educators Ontario;

  • Valid and Negative Criminal Record Check - Vulnerable Sector (within six months);

  • Hold a valid CPR and First Aid certification;

  • Must be 18 years or older;

  • Excellent proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing of French. English an asset.

COMPENSATION

The salary is fixed between $18.80 and $21.28 per hour.

Non-Graduate Educator Job Description
Non-Graduate Educator

The Non-Graduate Educator will be responsible for delivering an educational program including activities that are geared toward children's development, their health, their security and their well-being.

  • Please include all current certification including first aid/C.P.R. and valid and Negative Criminal Record Check- Vulnerable Sector (within six months).

  • Candidates must be 18 years or older.

 

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Excellent proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing of French. English an asset.

 

COMPENSATION

The salary is between $15.05 and $16.98 per hour.
