Administrative Assistant — Fire, Public Safety and Enforcement |
The township of Russell is looking for a mature, motivated and bilingual individual for the above-mentioned position. Reporting directly to the director of public safety and enforcement, the administrative assistant will also service the administrative requirements of both the Embrun and Russell fire and emergency services. Duties include:

Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in French and English, both oral and written. Non-Graduate Educator at St-Jean/La Croisée Daycare (Full-Time) |
The non-graduate educator will be responsible for delivering an educational program including activities that are geared toward children's development, their health, their security and their well-being.
Please include all current certification including first aid/c.p.r. and valid and negative criminal record check - vulnerable sector (within six months). Candidates must be 18 years or older. Language Requirements: excellent proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing of french. English an asset. Compensation: the salary, based on a 40-hour work week is between $15.35 and $17.32 per hour and includes an excellent benefit package and pension plan. Junior Planner |
Position Overview: Under the direction of the Planning, Building and Economic Development Director, the candidate person will carry out a variety of tasks related to the urban planning, including the communication of information and technical advice to requests from the public concerning requests for information on different properties, minor variances, severances, rezoning applications. Municipal Planner |
The Planning department of the Township of Russell is currently seeking a motivated individual for the above-mentioned position. Under the direction of the Planning, Building and Economic Development Director, the Planner will be responsible for processing requests related to zoning amendment, site plan and plans of subdivision and drafting of relevant planning development policies. The candidate will ensure that safety, quality and efficiency are respected in the planning process and monitor on-going projects. In addition, the Planner will be responsible for preparing reports, follow up on internal and external communications related the projects as well as prepare research projects. The Planner will work with other professional disciplines and municipal authorities to deliver high quality services to our clients and consultants.
