Bartender (Part-time/when required)
Skills, Competencies and Knowledge:
  • Must be 18+.
  • Current Smart Serve Certification required.
  • Must be motivated and able to work flexible shifts including weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Requires some physical effort such as lifting, pulling, and carrying.
  • Ability to handle large crowds.
  • Ability to operate the cash register, to maintain cash float, and to complete the deposit at the end of the shift.

Language Requirements:

Bilingualism is an asset

Compensation:

The salary is $17.03/hour. The Township would be willing to cover the cost of the Smart Serve certification process and provide free access to the Municipal Sports Dome Training Centre (gym).

St. Jean/La Croisée Daycare:

St. Mother Teresa Daycare:

  • Full-Time Non-Graduate Educator (Leave Replacement – one-year contract)

Registered Early Childhood Educators (Part-Time) will be under the supervision of the Daycare Manager and will be responsible for delivering an educational program including activities that are geared toward children's development, their health, their security and their well-being and ensure professional and efficient management of the programming and activities of the service.

  • College degree in Early Childhood Education or in the process of completing an apprenticeship program;
  • Be a member of the Association of Early Childhood Educators Ontario;
  • Valid and negative criminal record check - Vulnerable sector (within six months);
  • Hold a valid CPR and First Aid certification;
  • Must be 18 years or older;
  • Communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Patience, empathy and understanding of children’s needs;
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment;
  • Capacity to work within a team and participate actively in supporting the center, children, families and co-workers;
  • Have strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Language requirements:

  • Excellent proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing of French (St. Joseph and St. Jean/La Croisée);
  • Excellent proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing of English (St. Mother Teresa);
  • Bilingualism is an asset.

Compensation:

The salary is between $25.43/hour and $28.63/hour and includes pension plan as well as a free access to the Municipal Sports Dome Training Center (gym).

  • Must be 18 years or older;
  • Communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Patience, empathy and understanding of children’s needs;
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment;
  • Work in cooperation within a strong team environment.

Language requirements:

  • Excellent proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing of French (St. Jean/La Croisée and Saint Joseph);
  • Excellent proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing of English (St. Mother Teresa);
  • Bilingualism is an asset.

Compensation:

Full-time Non-Graduate Educator: The salary, based on 40 hours a week, is between $20.85/hour and $23.47/hour includes an excellent benefit package, a pension plan as well as free access to the Municipal Sports Dome Training Centre (gym).

Part-time Non-Graduate Educator: The salary is between $20.85/hour and $23.47/hour and includes pension plan as well as a free access to the Municipal Sports Dome Training Center (gym).
