The Township of Russell extends its gratitude to the Kin Club of Russell and its dedicated team of volunteers for their hard work on Catch the Ace 6. We also thank every one of you who participated in this lottery to help raise funds for local charities. Through this collective effort, we raised a remarkable $31,889, which will go toward purchasing youth sporting equipment.
Catch the Ace 7
After a successful 6th edition with numerous local winners, the Kin Club of Russell is thrilled to announce the return of a 7th edition of Catch the Ace, which will once again raise money for local charities. This time, 26 charities have been selected, allowing for even greater community impact.
During the last series, this progressive weekly lottery raised over $1.2 million for local charities. The format of ticket revenue distribution will remain as follows:
- 20% to the winning ticket holder;
- 30% will be added to the jackpot;
- 50% will go to the Kin Club of Russell, to be distributed for charitable purposes following deduction of legitimate expenses.
Tickets are $10 each and are available at various locations throughout the region. If you would like to support youth sporting equipment for the new recreation complex, tickets can be purchased at the Sports Dome (150 Sportsplex Street, Embrun) Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., cash only. Alternatively, tickets are available online at kinclubofrussell.ca/catch-the-ace-tickets/, where you can select #20 to direct proceeds to this cause. Online ticket sales run weekly from 4:00 p.m. Sundays to 11:59 p.m. Saturdays.

The first draw is set for Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 3:15 p.m. and will continue every Sunday until the jackpot is won with the Ace of Spades. Join us in supporting our local charities—good luck to all!
