Construction of Roundabout Begins at St Guillaume and Route 300
The United Counties of Prescott and Russell’s (UCPR) Public Works Department, in partnership with the Township of Russell wish to inform residents, businesses, and road users that construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of County Road 28 (St Guillaume Road) and Route 300 will begin on Monday, March 23, 2026.
This project is part of ongoing efforts to improve traffic flow, enhance road safety, and support long term community development.
What to Expect:
- Delays, traffic disruptions, and temporary lane closures within the construction zone;
- Reduced speed limits to ensure the safety of workers and drivers;
- Clearly marked detours throughout the construction period; and
- Occasional noise and machinery activity during working hours.
Project Duration:
Construction is expected to progress over several months and will be completed in the fall of 2026.
