Parking Restriction During Construction (Item 11e)
Council approved an amendment the traffic and parking bylaw to restrict the parking on the South side of St-Moritz Terrace in Embrun, Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. for the duration of the construction of the new residential project, from March 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027.
Automatic Aid Agreement with the City of Ottawa (Item 11h)
Council received Report FIRE-2026-01 and approved a proposed by-law to replace the existing Automatic Aid Agreement with the City of Ottawa. The updated agreement continues to provide tanker support and initial fire suppression response from Ottawa Fire Services to the 417 Industrial Park. This arrangement ensures continued mutual assistance during fire incidents and supports effective emergency response in the area. This ongoing collaboration highlights our shared commitment to public safety, responsible service delivery, and the strategic use of regional expertise.
Urban Tree By-law (Item 11l)
Council received and approved recommendation ESAC-2026-01 from the Environment and Sustainability Advisory Committee regarding the Urban Tree By-law. Administration will now develop the Urban Tree By-law to implement the guidelines presented by the committee, reflecting strong collaboration between Council and the advisory committee.
The next Council meeting will be Monday, February 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
