Groundwater Recharge Study – 417 Industrial Park

The Township of Russell is pleased to announce the completion of the Groundwater Recharge Study, a key initiative undertaken in the development of the 417 Industrial Park.  

As designated project lead, the Township led the preparation of this comprehensive study to better understand groundwater recharge areas and establish guidance for future construction within these sensitive zones. The recommendation will be included in the upcoming zoning By-law review and identifies potential restrictions based on the type of construction proposed within the recharge area. This document will serve not only the Township of Russell, developers, and residents as a foundational planning tool moving forward.
