Invitation to Meet Me

We invite you to participate in our Meet Me event Thursday July 9, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This year’s event will take place in and around Yahoo Park, at 8 Blais Street in Embrun. The Township of Russell is organizing this event where the community will gather in the park and support local businesses and organizations.

Admission to this community gathering is free. Food & beverage kiosks, local music, craft breweries, inflatable games, face painting, fire safety drill, outdoor fun, etc. will be available to all. Fun for the whole family!

A teen zone will be organized by the Teen Advisory Committee including a dunk tank. We will also have community and healthcare organizations. Come and discover the wonderful community associations and learn how you can get involved in your community!

This year, each department of the Township of Russell will have a kiosk to engage with the community. Come by to connect with us and complete quick surveys, sign up for alerts or messages, share your feedback, and more. As a thank you for engaging with us, coupons worth $5 will be handed out at various kiosks (while quantities last) that you can exchange at food and beverage vendors.

Parking will be available at the following locations:

• Embrun Arena: 6 Blais Street
• Barrier-free parking: at the Embrun Arena
• Various bike racks: We encourage active transportation!

In case of rain, the event will take place in the Embrun Arena, at 6 Blais Street.
