We are excited to announce the 3rd edition of Meet Me on Main Street in Russell! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This is a free event to attend, no registration required!

This year’s community gathering will feature food and beverage kiosks, local nonprofit organizations, live music, face painting, youth activities, fire safety demonstrations, and lots of outdoor fun — it’s sure to be a fantastic event for the whole family!

New this year, stay tuned for more details on a Teen Zone organized by our Teen Advisory Committee.

Want to Have a Kiosk?

The Township of Russell cordially invites you to become one of our vendors at the Meet Me on Main Street event.

This community event brings together residents and visitors of all ages every summer in a friendly and festive atmosphere. Live music, family activities, a community zone, and local vendors will be featured as we celebrate the spirit of our community.

Register before June 13, 2025, to reserve your space. Spaces are limited and are on a first come, first serve basis.

Local Community or Not for Profit Organizations

The Teen Advisory Committee, made up of committed young leaders, proposed that this event serve as a springboard to encourage greater participation by residents, especially teenagers, in the fields of sports, arts and volunteerism.

A unique opportunity for your organization to:

  • Promote your programs, services and volunteer opportunities
  • Interact with residents of all ages, including newcomers
  • Connect with other community organizations
  • Helping to promote the richness of our community life

Business or Food Vendors

We would like to offer you the opportunity to:

  • Present and sell your products or services to a varied and committed clientele.
  • Introduce your business to new local and regional customers.
  • Contribute to the friendly and festive atmosphere of the event.
  • Benefit from the visibility offered by the municipal promotion of the event (website, posters, social networks).
