You Are Invited: Unveiling of Winning Photographs for the 2022 Photo Expo

From July 22 to August 22, hobbyist, amateur, and professional photographers were invited to submit their images for the Township of Russell Photo Exhibition with the theme “Hometown Future.” With a huge success, we received over 75 submissions from our community and beyond.

You are invited to join us for the unveiling of the winning photographs from this year’s Township of Russell Photo Contest and Expo!

• Date: Saturday, September 10, 2022
• Time: 4:00p.m.
• Location: 2nd Annual Russell Art at Night event at the Russell Fairgrounds

Submissions will be on display from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.

Russell Art at Night is a great event to enjoy local art vendors, children’s entertainment, food and drinks, live music, and more. The event is also happening alongside the RCMP Musical Ride, a truly Canadian experience.

The Photo Contest and Expo is a partnership with the Russell Agricultural Society and the Township of Russell. Winning photographs from the Contest and Expo will be later displayed as public artwork throughout the Township. A special thanks to the School of the Photographic Arts for sponsoring additional prizes for each winner.

Participants can pickup their photos at Town Hall on Tuesday, September 13 from 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m.
