Positive Ticket for Youth - May 2026
We’re celebrating youth who stand out and make a positive difference in our community! Our Public Safety and Enforcement Officers issue Positive Tickets to local youth who demonstrate kindness, helpful behaviour, or take part in good deeds. Each ticket includes a gift card to a local business to recognize and reward these outstanding role models.
Last May, we presented a Positive Ticket to a local youth for her thoughtful contributions to the community.
• Harper, age 4, cares deeply about the environment and wanted to help keep her community clean. Knowing that litter is harmful to the planet, she asked her parents to help her pick up garbage in the neighbourhood.
If you see someone 16 years or younger spreading positivity, let us know! Contact our Public Safety and Enforcement Department at bylaws.reglements@russell.ca.
Special thanks to the community groups and local business owners who are sponsoring prizes for this program, including the Kin Club, the Legion, Giant Tiger, McDonald’s, and Tim Hortons.
