Positive Tickets for Youth - April 2026
We’re celebrating youth who stand out and make a positive difference in our community! Our Public Safety and Enforcement Officers issue Positive Tickets to local youth who demonstrate kindness, helpful behaviour, or take part in good deeds. Each ticket includes a gift card to a local business to recognize and reward these outstanding role models.
Last April, we presented Positive Tickets to three local youth for their thoughtful contributions to the community.
- Raphael was recognized for stepping up as a crossing guard for his school bus and for helping new students feel welcome on their first day of school—a kind and responsible gesture that makes a big difference.
- We also recognized siblings Audrey and Maelle, who took the initiative to pick up garbage off the streets, helping to keep our community clean. Their efforts are truly appreciated by all.

If you see someone 16 years or younger spreading positivity, let us know! Contact our Public Safety and Enforcement Department at bylaws.reglements@russell.ca.
Special thanks to the community groups and local business owners who are sponsoring prizes for this program, including the Kin Club, the Legion, Giant Tiger, McDonald’s, and Tim Hortons.
