Positive Tickets for Youth
We’re celebrating youth who stand out and make a positive difference in our community! Our Public Safety and Enforcement Officers issue Positive Tickets to local youth who demonstrate kindness, helpful behaviour, or take part in good deeds. Each ticket includes a gift card to a local business to recognize and reward these outstanding role models.
This March, we presented Positive Tickets to two local youth for their thoughtful contributions to the community. Nick and Liviah took it upon themselves to walk through their neighbourhood in Embrun, picking up litter along the way to help keep the streets clean, a wonderful gesture that is truly appreciated by everyone.
If you see someone 16 years or younger spreading positivity, let us know! Contact our Public Safety and Enforcement Department at bylaws.reglements@russell.ca.
Special thanks to the community groups and local business owners who are sponsoring prizes for this program, including the Kin Club, the Legion, Giant Tiger, McDonald’s, and Tim Hortons.
