Public Skating Returns September 21

The much-anticipated return of free Public Skating and Stick & Puck sessions is here! Starting September 21, 2024, the Embrun and Russell arenas will be hosting these popular activities once again. It's the perfect opportunity for families, friends, and hockey enthusiasts of all ages to get back on the ice or enjoy it for their very first skate!

Please note the schedules below for both arenas and refer to the website www.russell.ca/arenas for any updates, cancellations, or changes. To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, we ask that you take a moment to review the Public Skating Rules and Stick & Puck Rules and to respect the age ranges for those sessions. Our arena staff will be present to monitor compliance with these guidelines.

Embrun Arena - 6 Blais Street

Public Skating

• Tuesday: 11:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
• Saturday: 3:30 p.m. to 4:20 p.m.
• Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 1:50 p.m.

Stick & Puck

• Monday: 3:45 p.m. to 4:35 p.m. (Ages 4-8)
• Wednesday: 3:15 p.m. to 4:05 p.m. (Ages 9-12)
• Friday: 3:15 p.m. to 4:05 p.m. (Ages 13+)

Russell Arena - 1084 Concession Street 

Public Skating

• Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. (Family Skate)
• Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. (Senior Skate)
• Saturday: 4:00 p.m. to 4:50 p.m.
• Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 1:50 p.m.

Stick & Puck

• Tuesday: 3:45 p.m. to 4:35 p.m. (Ages 4-8)
• Thursday: 3:30 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. (Ages 13+)
• Friday: 3:30 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. (Ages 9-12)
