Back to SearchConstruction moved forward in many areas throughout November.
The CIMCO refrigeration plant, natural gas generator, and several pieces of roof-top equipment were installed. Masonry crews finished the exterior brick work and continued building interior block walls in Rinks 2 and 3, as well as in back-of-house areas.
Siding crews continued working around the outside of the building, completing infrastructure work. The exterior steel framing and boarding around the Community Centre is now mostly complete. Inside, framing for interior walls and bulkheads is moving ahead in all arena areas.
The concrete slab for Rink 1 has been poured. The change room floors for the arena and pool have also been completed.
Mechanical and electrical teams are continuing their rough-in work in the service rooms and resurfacer areas. Roofing crews are close to finishing the central mechanical area and will soon begin work on the surrounding sections.
