Recreation Complex Project Update
More
Construction of the recreation complex is moving along well. The month of September brought significant progress, with major milestones reached both inside and outside the facility.
- The aquatics hall and community hall structures are now finished.
- Masonry crews wrapped up the north side of the resurfacer area and began work on the pool area’s south and west walls. They are also building interior block walls for service rooms at the back of the building.
- Siding crews continue moving around the facade, working behind the masonry and framing.
- Exterior steel and boarding have been added around the aquatics hall and lobby, along with interior walls and bulkheads in the arenas.
- The concrete slab for Rink #2 has been poured and is curing. Work has also resumed on the previously poured Rink #3, allowing electrical and sprinkler installation to continue.
- Mechanical and electrical teams are making steady progress throughout the service rooms and resurfacer area, and equipment for the facility’s mechanical room has been delivered.
Construction crews remain focused on keeping the project on track, and we look forward to sharing more updates in the coming months.
