Recreation Complex Update: We’re Getting Closer!
Exciting progress continues at the Recreation Complex as we move toward the Fall 2026 opening!
Outside, the building is starting to look more complete every week. Work continues in the central courtyard, where crews are installing pathways, interlock stone, landscaping, and planting areas. New sidewalks and curbs are also taking shape around the site.
The exterior of the building continues to come together as metal siding panels are installed. These panels, along with insulation underneath, will help create a durable and energy-efficient facility.
Inside, progress is happening across all areas of the complex. Brickwork has been completed in the rink change room areas, lobby, and pool reception space, giving these spaces their finished look. Work continues in the pool change rooms while mechanical and electrical systems are installed behind the scenes.
The arena spaces are also advancing, with painting and interior finishing underway. Throughout the building, crews are installing and completing mechanical and electrical systems in walls and ceilings, helping prepare spaces for drywall and final finishes.
Up on the roof, work is continuing on metal finishing details and service structures to help protect the building from the elements.
Every week brings new milestones, and it's exciting to see the Recreation Complex transforming from a construction site into a place where residents will gather, play, learn, and connect. Stay tuned for more updates as we count down to opening day in Fall 2026! View newly added photos on our website’s project page.
