NOTICE OF A MEETING OF THE PLANNING ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Township of Russell - Zoning amendment

TAKE NOTICE that the Corporation of the Township of Russell invites all interested persons to attend a Meeting of the Planning Advisory Committee for the purpose of discussing the proposed amendments to the Township of Russell Zoning By-law #2018-094 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O 1990, as amended.

1. DATE, TIME & LOCATION

Monday February 3, 2025 – 6:00 p.m.
Gaston Patenaude Hall - 717 Notre Dame Street, Embrun

2. PURPOSE AND EFFECT

The Planning Department has received a complete application for a zoning by-law amendment which seeks to rezone the subject land to Residential Two and Three Zone (R2+R3) to allow for future low-rise residential development. The application also requests an Open Space (OS) and Floodplain (FP) Zone along the creek area.
