Russell, Ontario – The 2025 Photo Expo took place on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Featuring over 120 of the 220 submitted photos, this event showcased the talent of 75 local photographers. August 2025 Recreation Complex Update

Over the past few weeks, great progress has been made on the new recreation complex:

• Pool area: The walls of the new leisure pool have been poured, and crews are working on the pool’s piping systems.

Curious About Pickleball?

Join us for an informative session and get a chance to try it for yourself! We will have balls on hand, but you are required to bring your own paddles. Come by on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. or from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Sports Dome (150 Sportsplex Street, Embrun).

The cost is $10 per player and payable the day of at the reception of the Sports Dome. Maximum 16 participants per group.
