Are you excited for the grand opening of the A&W in Embrun? The business is aiming to open its doors in November. Located at 1044 St-Guillaume Road, a team of 40+ employees will be ready to offer you a friendly bilingual service. Their menu boasts a variety of products including breakfast, burgers, Beyond Meat Burgers, chicken and more. Each item is prepped daily using fresh produce and served with a smile. A&W serves beef raised without artificial hormones and steroids, and now all of their beef is grass-fed and grass-finished. In addition, this A&W restaurant will be one of the first to offer a Brew Bar featuring frozen root beer, fruit smoothies, lattes, etc.

The restaurant owner, Maxim Ouellette, was born and raised in a francophone family of entrepreneurs who happen to love food and enjoy cooking. ‘I am very excited to be able to mix both my passion for food and passion for entrepreneurship and share the results with the community’ expressed Maxim. Its family, who own and operate the A&W in Hawkesbury for over 10 years, love the values that A&W stands for: high quality food, care for the environment and giving back to the community. After living in Ottawa to complete his university degree, Maxim wanted to return to his roots and open its own franchise in a small but growing community.

From using compostable packaging to their fundraisers to support Canadians living with Multiple Sclerosis, A&W strives to make a positive impact in the community. Becoming a sponsor for local events and organizations is one of the owner’s ambition. The Department of Economic Development is proud that A&W Embrun is joining our business community and wishes many accomplishments in the years to come.
