Did you know that you can get your sports equipment in Russell? Celebrating 25 years in business this August, Replay Sports has continued to expand its selection of used and new products. Located at 1135 Concession Street, the store offers equipment and accessories for several sports including hockey, broomball, soccer, baseball, football, basketball, ringette, volleyball, golf, figure skating, etc. A skate sharpening service and hockey skate and stick repair are also offered by the company. In the last few years, Replay Sports acquired a Sani Sport disinfection machine that significantly reduces bacteria and foul odours from protective gear. Whether it's your hockey bag or the purchase of a used item, this machine cleans, disinfects, and protects equipment using an ozone process.

The company began in 1996 when two Russell ladies offered minor hockey players' equipment exchanges. Other sports equipment was added, which prompted a move of Replay Sports to a new space, which the company still occupies. Dominic Bélanger and Robert Lefebvre acquired the business in 2005 and since then, the two partners have invested to offer a wide selection of equipment and accessories. In addition to a large variety of products, personalized and quality service is guaranteed. Although Replay Sports is a small business, they accept returns and even have “price-match” policy for new products. Many of the used products in the store are owned by residents of the Township of Russell. That is, over 2,000 customers attempt to resell their used items in good condition through Replay Sports and may thus receive up to 70% of the sale price. The company also accepts donations of products that can after be used by another family in the community.

In addition, the company believes in the importance of supporting the local economy and giving back to the community. The owners sponsor several sports associations in the region. The Department of Economic Development is proud that Replay Sports is part of our business community and congratulates the company for their work and involvement in the Township of Russell.

We invite you to visit the store and follow the business on Facebook. You can contact the team at 613-445-1481 to obtain all the necessary equipment to get back in the game.
