The company relocated to a brand-new dealership building in September of 2020 and offers sales, rentals, support, and the service of three major product lines. Founded in 1993 in Sudbury, Ontario, Eastrock Equipment first started with sales and support of Furukawa Rock Drills and Hydraulic Breakers. In 2008, the company relocated to Ottawa where it continued to grow and expand, adding more product lines to better serve customers. In 2018, Eastrock Equipment Inc. became a Doosan Heavy Equipment dealership, and in October 2022, the business added the Wacker Neuson product line to its offerings. Small machinery will soon be available for purchase and rental including water pumps, generators, compactors, etc.
Both owners of the company, Mrs. Josée and Mr. Greg Robichaud, are excited that they will be celebrating the 30th year in business in 2023. In addition to being a second-generation business and the largest Furukawa Rock Drill dealership in North America, Eastrock Equipment Inc. puts customers at the heart of everything they do. When a customer walks into their dealership, the staff will do everything they can to ensure he leaves with a solution. “Our employees will go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need and to keep your machines running,” proudly states Mr. Robichaud.
Eastrock Equipment Inc. believes in the importance of giving back to the community by being involved in multiple construction associations (OCA and NCHCA) that run charitable events throughout the year. The company is new to this community, but they are always searching for ways to give back and support local.
